tim romberger

Tim Romberger is responsible for leading Marakon’s North American consulting business. Tim joined Marakon in 1993, spending a few months on the East coast before heading to London for just under 3 years. He returned to North America to help found the Chicago office in 1996. Tim has managed client engagements in industries that range from specialty apparel to specialty chemicals. He has substantial experience inside and outside of North America, including work in the UK, Continental Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Tim has advised clients on a range of issues including organizational effectiveness, offer innovation, portfolio strategy and business model redesign. Most recently, Tim has been leading the development of our intellectual capital and ‘apps’ focused on helping companies re-ignite or accelerate profitable growth amid the post-recession demand reset. In April of 2009 he co-wrote and published an article in the Harvard Business Review entitled Five Rules for Retailing in a Recession.

Outside of the office Tim invests most of his time with his family (wife and two young boys), with the occasional opportunity to get some exercise at the ice hockey rink, the ski hill, the softball diamond or the golf course.

Tim grew up on the west side of Denver, CO, and holds a BS degree in Economics from The Wharton School of Business.
