neal kissel

Neal heads Marakon’s UK and European business. He has more than 15 years of experience working with senior executives in the Americas, Asia and Europe and has advised clients on issues ranging from establishing and executing enterprise strategy, mergers and acquisitions, overcoming organizational barriers to entering new markets and improving capital management processes. His industry experience spans consumer products, natural resources and financial services.

Recently, Neal worked with a global energy company to accelerate their participation and build advantage in select alternative energy markets and put in place the unique organizational models required to survive alongside big oil’s traditional structures. He has also spent time focusing on finding new methods and techniques to accelerate profitable organic growth through greater marketing effectiveness. This approach used deeper insights into customer behaviors, attitudes and economics to inform decision-making and provide a tangible link between marketing investment and the company’s overall strategy. In addition to his client work, Neal has held many key leadership roles within the firm including heading the firm's Global training program and leader of business development for UK and Europe.

Outside of the firm, he is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Rotary International and the American Bar Association. He sits on the board of Two Leaves and a Bud – a tea company.

Prior to joining Marakon, Neal worked as an attorney and as consultant for Andersen Consulting and spent several years as a professional free-style competitive skier in Aspen.
